This pilot lesson focused on the concept of Place Value, incorporating gamification, scaffolding, and emotional coaching to help learners build understanding and confidence.

Students with ADHD often experience information overload and struggle to maintain focus during traditional GCSE lessons.
Conventional quizzes offer binary (right/wrong) feedback, which can lower self-esteem and discourage learners after mistakes.
Visible time estimates and dense, uninterrupted lesson formats increase pressure and reduce learner engagement.
Teachers lack intuitive tools to track students’ emotional engagement and confidence levels alongside academic progress.

AI-assisted lesson generation for teachers without direct interaction with students.
The GCSE lesson boosted learner confidence and engagement, with most students completing the session and expressing positive emotions. Emotional coaching and scaffolded quizzes improved understanding, while teachers gained insights to better support students’ needs.
